A innovative tree-planting project in the desert of Egypt
A Green Spot in the Middle of the Desert
In the centre of what used to be a dry and barren desert, we are realizing a Green Spot. With the help of your donations, in March 2022, around 300 trees were planted. Since then, the Salmadari Green Spot is developing into an area full of greenery.
By planting valuable food-producing trees, we are able to create a robust food forest. The property will house camphor trees, neem trees, olive trees, palm trees, apple trees, orange trees, and lemon trees.
Characteristics of the Salmadari Green Spot
