For large organizations, this approach offers a more cost-efficient way to compensate for their emissions while supporting measurable, on-the-ground impact. More Than Just Offsets
What makes our carbon credits unique is our broader mission. We aim to align with 16 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals – far more than most programs. Supporting our work means contributing to biodiversity, climate resilience, local livelihoods, and education. For example, our tree planting not only captures carbon but also helps restore native ecosystems, creates long-term jobs for local workers, and educates communities about sustainable land management. These are real, lasting benefits that go far beyond traditional carbon offsetting.
The Bigger Picture
A traditional carbon credit typically represents 1,000 kilograms (1 ton) of CO₂ removed or avoided. At Foresteer, we work on a tree-by-tree basis, where each tree-based credit offsets an average of 25 kilograms of CO₂ annually. While these are smaller units, they reflect the direct, measurable impact of every tree planted and maintained.
This approach offers a more accessible and tangible way for individuals and organizations to engage in meaningful climate action – helping to restore ecosystems, reclaim desert land, and create long-term value for people and the planet.
Support Project Amadal
We’re launching Project Amadal to plant 43,000 trees on 39 hectares of empty desert. You can reserve carbon credits for just €1 per tree per year. This price is valid for 2025 and may change in the future based on project costs and availability. Each credit offsets an average of 25 kg of CO₂ annually. In the beginning, we will plant two trees per credit to ensure real impact.
Note: €1 per tree does not cover the full cost of land acquisition, landscaping, planting, and maintenance for 30+ years. That’s why we also run our Tree Donation and Tree Adoption programs. Buying carbon credits still plays a critical role in making this possible.
