At Foresteer, we believe every tree planted in the desert is a step toward a greener future. But turning arid land into thriving ecosystems takes more than just planting. It requires commitment, resources, and long-term care. That’s why we’re introducing two impactful ways for you to contribute: Tree Donation and Tree Adoption.
Why Your Support Matters
Transforming desert land is a complex and costly process. Every euro helps us take a barren piece of land and turn it into a sustainable, life-giving forest. Whether you donate or adopt, your contribution is not just symbolic – it’s foundational.
Every tree we plant offsets an average of 25 kg of CO₂ per year, helping us fight climate change while restoring ecosystems.
Your Options to Support
A simple yet powerful gesture. For just €9, you can donate a non-production tree that becomes part of our afforestation and biodiversity enhancement projects. These trees do not yield commercial products but play a critical role in restoring the ecosystem, improving soil, and creating shade and habitat for other species.
Tree Donation includes:
- Acquiring desert land
- Landscaping and preparing the soil
- Digging and installing a water well
- Adding compost and organic matter
- Procuring and planting the tree
- Maintenance and care for at least 30 years
Tree Adoption goes one step further. With this option, you sponsor a production tree — mainly olive trees or date palms, as these species thrive best in desert environments. These trees not only contribute to the greening mission but also provide fruits and other sustainable products.
What makes Tree Adoption unique is that we aim to return the full value of your contribution over time.
Tree adoption includes:
- Everything in the donation package
- A production tree
- Future returns in the form of:
- 100% organic extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh or dry dates
- A stay at our new eco-village
